Cooking is a very useful profession for raiding as it allows you to make your food buffs to get the essential +(stat) for an extra boost.
A lot of materials are needed to power level cooking from skill 1 onward, many of these materials are no longer farmed because players are just speeding through the lower content (especially with heirloom items now) and less and less of these lower level regents are available on the AH and forcing level 80’s to spend their time grinding lower level content.
From my research, I have found a few meats that are high in demand but not available on the AH, this allows you to have a monopoly on your hands and set your own prices.
I make easily 500g/hr from this method, one of my best ways of making gold, but my highest earner is using Luke’s Guide.
I like this method of gold earning as it does not require any professions to do. A lot of us like to reserve our professions for PvP or PvE bonuses and not gold making.

Hey Will great video! Thanks for visiting my blog BTW. Now what I’m wondering is how many of these ribs can you sell? Are they in such great demand or is that just a server specific thing? Also, another big problem these days is that damned “Additional instances cannot be launched…” message.
I was having no problem selling 80/day (8 stacks) no failed auctions, however, after I published this article I see two other people have come in and started posting a lot of ribs.. I pmed them both and asked if they watched a video on boar ribs.
They both proceeded to say yes and thanks so much, looks like I have to find another way to make gold now lol.
I have never had the issue with the additional instances, I think it only happens in “raid” instances, but I could be wrong.

Nah, the additional instances thing is the same for any instance I’ve tried this year. From Deadmines to Drak’Tharon. It’s starting to really piss me off now. One of my favorite things to do in the game is to solo old instances.

You can only do 5 instances in an hour, you can do BG’s in between runs to shake things up or just do this 5 times an hour then hearth back and do something else.
You can only post about 60 at a time on the AH anyways so you wouldn’t want to farm more than that a day.

60 is about the max that you want to put up at a time, it seems like I am the only one I’ve seen for weeks to bother putting these on the AH.
