I purchased a hilt for 9k knowing that it was going for about 11-12k on the AH. It took about a week and a half to sell, which I wasn't too happy with having that much money tied up in one sell. Buy ultimately I sold it for 11.5 and ended up with a nice profit for the amount of time. The high end BOEs tend to go slowly as well on my server. Our serious raiding groups don't generate that much sells. Unless it's for their alts. Still the opportunities are there no matter what the server pop is. I'm sure that you've heard it many times but having only really started playing the AH two months ago. This blog has been invaluable to me in generating both gold, and the enjoyment in the game again. You can only grind and do dailies so much before it needs a little spice. AH was just what I needed.
