Every Tuesday we have maintenance on servers that last for 6 hours on average. During this time period bids are still ticking and if you previously bid on anything that was ending within that 6 hour time window where the server is down you’re guaranteed to win it as long as you are the highest bidder before the servers go down.
Tomorrow, Tuesday June 8th 2010 will be unique as a large amount of servers will be down for 24 hours, from 12:01 PDT Tuesday morning (Monday night) till Wednesday 12:01 PDT (Tuesday night). This brings a special opportunity as it will extend that window of bids you’ll win from 6 hours to 24 hours where all bids will end with the highest bid someone placed at 12:01 with a time left of less than 24 hours.

Picked up a Polymorph: Turtle for 200g

Didn’t catch this in time, and I should have but was away from the computer last couple days. However best bid I’ve won in recent memory was 2 Radiant Eye of Zul’s for 15g bid, 250g buyout. Man that guy/girl musta been mad when he opened their mailbox
I got a few golden pearls cheap, they get turned into 500-600 gold enchants.
What really made a TON of money though, was being one of the first back on the server to post glyphs.
Posted them all before work and quite a few went up at my max of 75g. Others were 40-50g. Made almost 1000g in profit when I checked everything on my phone at lunch. And this is on a sever (Stonemaul – one of the last batch to come back online) with a lot of glyph market competition.
