Addons are an essential part of making gold if you are looking to become more efficient and earn more per hour.
I share in this post the gold addons that I currently use and the strategies I have come up with to utilize each addon for my gold making strategy, I use these addons with the advice I read in WoW School’s Guide to get to my total of 61,000g so far.
Crafting Addons
Quick Auctions 3 – an advanced tool used to mass post auctions and mass cancel auctions you are undercut on, posting time is much faster than auctioneer but you have to create item “groups” so you should only use this for items you regularly post.

Skillet + Lil’ Sparkies Work Shop – Best way to queue up items to craft, once you’ve queued up a bunch of items you can click on the “shopping list” and it will show you the materials that you still need. If you are at a vendor an automatic “This vendor sells items you need – Buy Materials” button will be available that will buy out all the items you need from that vendor in your shopping list. Lil’Sparkies basically lists your crafting costs (from auctioneer data) and how much profit you can make (using auctioneer data)

KTQ – If you have skillet, auctioneer and Altoholic (addon that keeps track of all items among your alts) You can tell skillet to queue specific items (such as glyphs) so for example:
/ktq set threshold 5g
/ktq queue 15 glyphs
This will make KTQ tell your skillet to queue up all glyphs (up to 15 glyphs) that are priced for over 5g on the auction house. IF you have 10 glyphs of one of them it will queue up 5 of them (bringing you to 15).

Auction House Addons
Auctioneer – The best tool that will change your AH UI to assist with buying and selling. Whenever an item is seen on the auction house it stores data so you can reference pricing stats to find out average prices of items. You can also scan the entire Auction house to retrieve all item data and if done regularly (1-2 times a day for a week) you can use this data to buy and sell using the resale module

Auctionator – Best buying addon for the auction house, when you search for an individual item it will scan all the pages and automatically sort all auctions from lowest price (per unit) to highest and you can mass buy (by typing in desired unit amount)

Mail Addons
And of course you’ll need some good mail addons
Postal – one click get all mail
If you have over 50 mails the bliz mailbox will make you wait 30 seconds to get the next batch of 50 mails, however if you type /reload ui it will reset your ui in around 5-10 seconds and the next batch will be available right away.

Out of curiosity, what do you do with your snowfall ink?

I either sell the snowfall inks in stacks of 5 for 75g a stack, (between 12g – 19g each, depending on lowest price) but never lower than 12g each.
I’d say the way I get rid of the majority of them is by putting them into runescrolls, offhands, and mostly darkmoon cards.

What usually happens is my snowfall inks cover the costs of my materials, so I may only see small gains in my gold day by day (since I’m hording up so many snowfalls) and once the darkmoon fair comes along I get a huge jump in gold, like 20,000g from investing all the snowfalls into decks and selling those for 5k each.

I like this guide, i’ve been trying to find a decent one for glyphs and already making money off them, i done a bit of farming first so i had the ink’s to get me started.

I thought I’d add this since I’ve started trying it, but the most conservative estimate of milling puts a rate of about 1 ink per 5 herbs, meaning that with the set price of under 90s, you can also buy any ink people have put up for less than about 4g50s each. Also if for some reason people have put pigment up, you could grab it at anything under 2g25s.
0.9×5 = 4.5
So another good way to get materials if the volume of herbs is low is to check if anyone has put ink up for less than 4g50s each.

hello, i watched ur video and DLd a few of the addons on it and i cant figure out what to do to post 1 ink and 2 ink. I made the item group and set my preferences but how do i know that the glyphs are in the proper group?

I would REALLY like KTQ to work. It seems as though KTW AND Glypher are both not currently working. I have to manually go through and pick out the best glyphs to make which is not as easy as /ktq queue 15 glyphs. Does anyone know how to a) fix the addons or b) contact the people who know how to fix them?
I have this problem as well, threshold on KTQ seems to not work. It queues up gems that are a lot below my threshold on the AH even seconds after doing a /auc getall. Another problem I have is with Quick Auctions 3 when Override Price Gap is set to for instance 15%, the lowest item on AH is below threshold but the 2nd lowest isn’t and there is more than 15% in between, it doesn’t list it on the AH. I guess there might be an option for this somewhere, in that case I haven’t been able to find it.
I tried to use QA to auto mail items to a certain character, but it doesn’t work. Another thing that doesn’t usually work for me is using bank stack to put items from my bag into my bank and vice versa. It just keeps saying “perfection already exists”. Why is it doing this?

I Open "inscripion" enter "/ktq queue 5 glyphs" and nothing happens,
i close my profession open it again nothing there..it's really annoying all
this effort and it just doesnt want to work…
hey i was using QA 3 and it is not recognizing that i have any auctions on, and i was wondering if there was a difference between QA 2 and 3? that would allow me to do this, or do they have to be in a group? or what? lol please and thanks for the help in advance
