Along with my daily tips on how I make gold I wanted to share with you my progress towards the gold cap of 214,000 gold.

I am current at 75,000g worth, which is auctioneers valuation of all the items I have in my bags, inventory and currently listed on the auction house.

I have 36,500 in actual gold but I am soon going to invest this into powerleveling 2 more professions;. most likely Jewelcrafting and Enchanting.

How I Make Gold

Previously I used to only buy and sell on the auction house using auctioneer while I was watching a movie or doing something else around the house, this didn’t require me to level a profession or do much work but only made me 500g on average a day for 30 minutes worth of work.

I then decided I wanted to take gold making more seriously and invested in another profession, I already had engineering, as I pvped with my Rogue, and Engineering is great for that. I picked up Inscription 2 months ago to try my hand at the glyph market.

Inscription nets me around 3,000g/day profit (playing for 3 hours after work) by selling Vellums, Runescrolls, Glyphs, Off-Hands, Darkmoon Cards and Snowfall Inks.

I make gold with engineering by crafting Mammoth Cutters and Saronite Razorheads which net me around 600g profit a day. Only takes 5 minutes to make and post.

In total I make 3,600g/day in 3 hours but I believe I can do better by picking up some more professions, unfortunately I only have 1 level 80 at the moment on the account, I do have some 80′s on another but I’d like all my gold earnings to be made on one account. I am leveling a Death Knight (currently level 60) so I can pick up two more professions and do this simultaneously to speed up my profits per day.

I am also continuing to look for ways to make my business more efficient. I currently spend around 1 hour a day (1/3rd of my playing time) crafting 5 of every profitable  glyph and all my other items to post on the AH, however to make this more efficient I could instead craft enough supply for 2 or 3 days so all I would have to do is post which would save me an hour to do other gold making activities.

Even though most of the crafting and milling is automatic, leaving me free to chat, read articles, watch movies and do other fun things, my ultimate goal is to earn the maximum amount possible during the time available to me and if I can cut corners in my process it will open up opportunities to make more gold.
