Can anyone tell me why it won't let me do weapon enchants on the scrolls? Also I would like to know is there like an addon or macro that would make disenchanting stuff alot easier instead of clicking all the JC greens I make.

Hi everyone, a quick question about enchants and KTQ/Altoholic/skillet. How can I add scrolls automatically like I do with glyphs? Is there a macro or something so that I can add, for example, 5 of each of 10-12 different scrolls? If anyone has the syntax I would love it, thanks!

I carpet bomb all of them. Thanks to QA3, it is far faster for me to carpet bomb them all than to select a few choices of cuts. KTQ inherently only cuts gems that sell though, since it's controlled by altoholic's report of how many you already have.

I love the way these 3 addons work in unison, not only for jewelcrafting but for all of my professions. They are really what sped up my progress this expansion.

The question about the threshold was with QA3, ty for that.

And sorry for continuing to ask about JC in the Enchanting section, but do you carpet bomb every possible gem cut or stick to only your best sellers?

I'm currently trying the mass posting method with 2 gems at a time(initially to see what are popular cuts in my realm, I would have thought champion monarchs were popular with such skewed stats =O), but I'm guessing I'm really hurting my possible profit by posting unpopular cuts that gets undercut much quicker than being sold.

Of course the lack of sales probably has to do with the fact that I'm experimenting on the weekend but do you use different posting strategy on the weekends and T-Ths? Like maybe flooding the raiding days with every and all cuts, while limiting your 'sure' cuts for the slower weekends?

And curiously enough, the 0 queue error/glitch stopped showing up. It might have been because I'm storing a higher quantity of gems for the mule(2 to 3), requiring less frequent switching between toons.

For using KTQ with scrolls, you're probably best to read the JMTC thread: http://20kleveling.com/JMTCforum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1943 as it has some macros that you'll need to copy and paste rather than type them all here for you.

In terms of your raregems threshold question, are you referring to the threshold option in QA3 or KTQ? I do not use the threshold option in KTQ because it requires Auctioneer which is a pet hate of mine. For QA3, for raregems, I use my threshold at 6g (just above the vendor value of 4.5g). The scarlet ruby cuts sell for similar value to yours, but rarely require relisting.

Lastly, your point about having 0 items added would probably be an altoholic issue. Ingame I'd probably verify that it's reporting back the correct amount of inventory.

I've followed your Jewelcrafting guide with KTQ with profitable results, but how do you have KTQ relist the scrolls you have sold on your Enchanting AH mule?

In comparison to JC, after a certain gem sells you can re-q only what is missing from your inventory, but there doesn't seem to be any way to automate the restocking of enchanting scrolls with Kev.

Also on the note of Kev JC, I also have two questions. Where do you usually set your threshold compared to your minimum mat cost? I ask this because I have frequent undercutters and even having 2g above minimum profit seems to be pushing my possible profit margin due to constant relisting with 1g~ deposit. As an example, scarlet rubies average around 30g mat cost on my server, and I end up selling Runed for 32g sometimes. But in order to sell I had to relist 3 to 4 times racking up 2.5ish gold in deposits.

Using the '/ktq queue 2 raregems' after immediately selling a couple of gems on my AH mule, I've frequently gotten the 'total added/items added' to be 0 sometimes. Is this due to lag between character information sharing with alto or just some glitch that happens from time to time?

Thanks again, a fellow gold enthusiast

I'm glad you liked it. Like most professions it can take a little practice in terms of product selection and timing.

Those who adapt to and overcome issues prosper :)

I forgot to mention I made a few thousand gold daily form my scrolls. That's after I knocked off the material cost. I agree it's a great profession to have, I should have made one of my toons an Enchanter sooner on my newest server.
