Patch 3.2.2, while being a small patch, brings about a few class changes, but one big change in regards to the wow economy.
Being aware of patch changes and their effect on the economy can provide a lot of profit if you act faster than the majority of the server. It is one of my main ways of making gold aside from following Dugi’s Guide.
Crusader Orbs
In patch 3.2.2 Blizzard will make Crusader Orbs purchasable for 15 Emblems of Triumph. They will be on the Emblem of Triumph Quartermasters in Dalaran.
Whenever an item receives another method of attaining them, the prices will plummet as the supply will rise, expect that many players have been stocking up on Emblems for this very reas0n of mass purchasing Crusader Orbs to post on the AH or craft the items to get gold.
If you have any Crusader Orbs currently, sell them as fast as possible! The price is going to plummet.
Naturally, with the decrease in price of crusader orbs, the cost of crafting gear with it as a reagent (full list here) will drop in price and will be sold for less.
The price point of all this gear will start to come down to much more reasonable levels for players to purchase, you’ll see a large rise in sales, but only once the gear comes down in price.
So there will be a reduction in crafting cost, and rise in sales, this will mean that much more of this equipment will be crafted and sold, causing a rise in demand for all the other reagents (which will stay at the same supply on the AH) whenever you see a rise in demand for an item but the same amount of supply, expect a large increase in price.
I predict these following reagents will experience a large increase in demand:
Nerubian Chitin
Icy Dragonscale
Eternal Shadow
Eternal Water
Eternal Air
Eternal Life
Heavy Borean Leather

It's just too bad that the abyssal shatter didn't make it into this patch
That would have a nice effect on the ridiculous abyss crystal prices we've had since ToC normal 5 man was put in and allowed people to farm these.
yeah I’m very curious why they didn’t bring it into the game, for some reason they want to keep the price of Essences and Dusts high.
