A player is claiming to have hit four million gold over on the mmo-champion forums.
While I don’t think this is impossible as there are many that I know of who have hit the gold cap, and Tella who is currently at 500,000g, it is the first “confirmed” case I’ve seen of a player amassing that much gold.
Of course everyone starts to claim that it is photoshopped but there are people from his server saying they’ve got access to the bank and seen the number for themselves.
The original poster who hit one million claimed to have 15k gold when WOTLK was released, so that means on average he must have made 82,000g a month, which is 2,688g a day.
While hitting the gold cap and possibly hitting 1 million gold are goals I would be interested in achieving, what do you do after you’ve hit a mil? 100 Million?? Is there a limit to how much gold you can have in a guild bank?
The first person to hit that guild bank limit could raise a lot of eyebrows.

You mixed 2 different ppl in your article, the one that had 15K at WOTLK start and now has 1Million and the other one who have 4 millions.
I wonder if he plays on a low pop server

It’s certainly not impossible. How much gold can the guild bank hold?
I’m @ 495k gold currently and only began my journey in late October (3 months) so I have no doubt it’s doable.

A personal g-bank can hold over million, I had 8k over the million mark but now just leave it at a million and store the G elsewhere with over 1.5 million currently. I didn’t want to test the limit in fear of losing some G in the process. I spend like drunk sailor or shore leave on cosmetic items and mounts but still amass the G faster then can spend it.
