Macros may seem really complex when people are listing all the code and variables that go into creating this simple piece of code. Well Blizzard has just come out with a new guide to make it easier for those who want to start incorporating macros into their game play.
Macros take away a lot of the redundancy while leveling or raiding by reducing the button mashing you are doing and lets you focus more on the task at hand. There are even some macros that do some of the thinking for you and will only cast spells or do certain abilities once special requirements are met.
