Actually, any crafting is destroying the source mats.
But you can still craft 40x [Ring of Something] with 1 click.
It’s not destroying, it’s just transforming set of items A to set of items B.

The reason that you can’t do this is because you’re destroying the 5x{herb} to create pigment. The game requires you a keypress every time that you want to destroy any type of item (same for disenchanting, prospecting, literally destroying an item…)

What I don’t understand is that I can automate the posting of glyps, I can even automate the bulk creation any given glyph type, but shouldn’t automate the milling of glyphs? Huh? While this change is nice, why shouldn’t I be able to ‘mill 40 tiger lilly’ with one key press? strange.

Yeah, noticed it yesterday. I thought it was a bug exactly because there wasn’t anything about it in the patch notes. But bug or not, I’m very happy about the change

I posted this exact question on the forums the other day, and I don’t think any one responded. I have to agree that they should have put it in the notes, as this is a HUGE deal for scribes everywhere.
