I recently hit the gold cap as well and found it also just fueled my passion to make more gold! I have a 450 of every single profession except herb and mining (oh how I feel the sting of not having a 450 miner when I want titansteel, but I'm working my alt up she's at 380). My main gold maker has been ICC boots and pants, profiting at least 1k per sale and sometimes up to 3k for the pants its been a pretty nice income. My question to you was that I have the means and recipes to be posting quite a bit more auctions. My scribe knows every glyph but the market is so bad on my server (5g glyphs on average) its just not worth the time. I have found some enchant scrolls can net up to 200g profit per sale, but I my issue is, when you have the capital to be in the most expensive market and can make major (1-2k) profits per sale, do you find that you don't have as much of an interest in the lower profit items? I guess if you use % they can be more profit than even ICC boots, but actual gold wise, I find them a bit lackluster.

What do you think? Am I missing out on some big potential profits? Should I work on adding enchanting scrolls to my permanent sale items? I'm also planning on getting a realm first in cata for a profession mostly because I've never had a chance before now, and I know I can make the costs back selling the high level goods. I figured enchanting as it will be easies to level, but I figure JC will have the most profit, what do you recommend? And should I push 110% in one profession to get realm first title, or push 80% in all my professions to have multiple high level crafters even if none get realm first? Thanks for any advice or thoughts!

For the longest time I have heard that Enchanting is a wonderful profession, and it does rack in a lot of Gold. I would love to see your progress, and money made from Enchanting, but I want to take a dip in it myself. Even at 150% market price of Abyss Crystals, scrolls seem to always sell at a profit. I currently am an Alchemist on my main, mostly for the transmute ( my main Alchemist is Elixir Mastery, which I love ), and the free unlimited Flask. But, Enchanting looks very appealing to me, especially with its Ring Enchants, and its profit. What do you think about taking Enchanting instead of Alchemy?

Ive had enchanting for quite a while, but only over the last month or 2 have I been selling scrolls on the AH (thanks to you. i make a lot of money on it now). While I was waiting for Random Heroic Queues I would go out and grind rep for for twink enchants. I am currently around 80% of all enchants in the game and I have noticed a few things.

I bought the recipe Enchant Weapon - Spellpower off the AH (+30sp to any weapon, drops off MC bosses). I paid 5k for it, and it took, maybe 1 month or less to make that money back, good scroll to have since its the best enchant for quite a few twink heirloom weapons. In fact, most of the heirloom enchants (like +15 agi) are very good sellers.

I look forward to hearing how well enchanting stacks up to other trade skills!
